Why did you launch LOR?

Like many people around the world we felt the need to do something about the current environmental crisis. LOR is our way of trying to make a positive change in the world...one lather at a time.

What is LOR?

LOR is an eco beauty brand that supports zero waste living through the use of low impact skin and hair care products that are 100% single-use plastic free, 100% natural and vegan that are kind to the environment, kind to animals and kind to you. Click here for more info on our values.

When did you launch LOR?

We are still in our infancy. After a year and half of research and setting up we finally launched LOR in May 2019.

Are you privately owned?

We are indeed. 'We' are Christina and Paul, a Maltese couple living London. We don't have any outside investors or shareholders and are completely independent.

Where are the products manufactured?

The products are all handmade here in the UK. 

 

What products can I choose from?

We currently offer a range of body washes, shampoos and conditioners together with a hand wash. Click here for more details on the products.

What are the product ingredients?

All our products are natural, vegan and do not contain any synthetics. They are also palm oil free and biodegradable so they are not harmful to the environment before and after you use the products. For more information on key products click here. Alternatively we have also included all ingredients for each product in the shop. 

 

Do you use palm oil in any of your products?

No. None of our products and ingredients contain palm oil or are derived from palm oil.

Are your products vegan?

Yes, all our products are vegan.

​

Are your products safe to use during pregnancy?

If pregnant or nursing we suggest contacting your doctor for information and guidance on which products can be used during this time as some essential oils are not considered safe to use while pregnant.

Have any of your products been tested on animals?

No, none of our have been tested on animals nor will they ever be. They are all cruelty free.

How are LOR products packaged?

Our products are all come in tough, amber glass 250ml bottles that are screen printed so we have completely eliminated any waste from bottle labels. All our bottles are re-useable and recyclable. The amber glass also protects our product from potentially damaging UV rays. 

 

You can also purchase 28mm black pumps from our shop to go with the products. These pumps are not single-use and can be re-used time and time again. Alternatively you can also use 28mm pumps from other products you have lying around the house. Always re-use old pumps over purchasing new pumps.

Where to do you ship to?

We currently ship to the UK. For European shipments do get in contact with our retail partner in Malta, ReRoot (hello@rerootmalta.com).

Where are you selling your products?

You currently can only purchase the products online via our website www.lorlondon.co.uk. We are however looking for stockists interested in carrying our products.

I just placed an order. When will I receive it?

Your products will take  approximately 5 working days to reach you.

Can I send LOR as a gift?

We currently do not official gift service on our site. However if you are interested in sending LOR products as a gift to a friend or a voucher drop us a line on lor@lorlondon.com and we'll be more than happy to help you out.
